My parents were kind enough to send me a 40 lb. box of California oranges. They actually picked them the day before the big freeze. I am so grateful for these bright, round beauties. They are sweet and delicious - so unlike what I have been buying at the market. As you can tell by the box I am getting down to the last few.

See, I am a little bothered by this orange thing. I believe you were the one who told me never to buy or eat oranges picked before the superbowl. I actually think of you whenever i now buy oranges, especially pre super bowl oranges. i actually feel a little guilty when buying them before the big game. oh well, thy moved the game back a week or so a few years ago, so i guess it is ok.
