HoY is now History! On Friday - the cow, SH and the in-laws loaded up a 15ft moving truck one more time. The move out of HoY went very smoothly. The cow has an eye for packing a truck that I didn't know was in him. Once we got to SeL it was a bit slower. Remember everything had to be moved up either one or two flights of stairs (living room entrance is really second floor). There was a few times that were stressful - the cow and his dad decided it would be a good idea to dangle the couch over the edge of the front door stairwell to "wiggle" it inside.
At about 5:00pm the last item was unloaded and I actually felt a smile cross my face. The cow and I did not stop there. He was on fire! He unpacked the entire kitchen. I made the bed and arranged bathrooms because we needed one badly. About 9:00 pm we finally went and had a pizza and a glass of wine.
The new adventure starts. I will be giving you pictures and details of our new area in the next couple of days. We have a room waiting for anyone who wants to visit PDX.
