Cooking class with Pilar Cabrerra from La Olla. The class started with a tour of the market. We quickly are back to the kitchen and working. The menu for the day was as follows:
Flores de calabaza rellenas de requeson
Ensalada de Nopalito y Jicama
Tamal de Chepil
Tamal de mole negro en hoja de platano
Salsa de chile pasilla
Pay de mango
The experience and food was fabulous not to mention the wine.
Soledad Church in the evening - there is a statue of Mary in this church that wears a crown of real diamonds.
Pizza Nostrana (Worst Italian mean I have ever had)
