Sunday Dinner

Sunday dinner is always delicious. Sunday is the relaxing day before the crazy week of work and it is also the day when the cow has a bit more time to think of elaborate meals. I love every meal that is prepared by him but for dinner last sunday he created crab and tomato risotto that melted in my mouth. The recipe seemed an ordeal because we had to find "fresh" crab. When we were at the store the cow asked for a specific crab and he asked the person to "clean it" for him. I thought this meant that they were going to dig out all of the meat. I was quickly informed that this was not what "clean it" meant. When he started preparing dinner (I know I should have taken a picture) his hands and fingers were frozen from digging out the meat from the crab. I not only felt sorry for him but I felt sorry for the crab. When I sat down for dinner the house was warm and cozy and there was that good food smell lingering about. I took my first bite and realized again how lucky I was to have such an awesome cook and a wonderful person in my life.

poor crab. she was just walking along the bottom of the ocean, minding her own business.
